SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

· Twenty-one (21) years experience in Law Enforcement.

· Fourteen (14) years experience as a Dual-purpose Narcotics K-9 handler and Project Manager for the development of Tactical K-9 Utilizations and Certifications. (1996-Present)

· Fifteen (15) years experience training law enforcement K-9’s for Narcotic Detection, Explosive Detection, Accelerant Detection, Tactical Building entries, Officer Protection, Apprehension, Tracking and Felony vehicles extractions. (1994-Present)

· Nineteen (19) years of Drug Interdiction and Project Manager of Drug Interdiction for a Federal Drug Task Force with seven (7) other Local, State and Federal Agencies. (1991-Present)

· Nominated by the Deputy Director of Appalachia HIDTA for the ONDCP Award 2000.

· Completed over 1000 hours for two (2) Master Trainer Certifications.

· Developed, authored and implemented the first Breeding Program for Police K-9’s for a law enforcement agency in West Virginia.

· Recognized throughout the State for seizures of over 14 million dollars in drugs, property and cash while working as a K-9 Handler.

· Twenty-nine (29) letters of commendation for various tasks from 1988-Present.

Trainer - Detective Donnie Harris

Detective Donnie Harris started his career in Law Enforcement as Deputy Sheriff in February 1990. He is a graduate of the West Virginia State Police Academy 76^th Basic Class. He is currently a Police Officer for the City of New Martinsville, where he is assigned to Investigations and the departments Criminal Drug Interdiction Team. He completed the Narcotics and Tracking Handler Course at Ultimate Working Dogs in April 2007. He is currently attending the Master Trainers Course. As a youth he raised and trained Brittany’s and English Setters.
